A Random Outing

A friend of mine, sheep, suggested that we meet up. And then we were discussing on where to go and what to do. We ended up at BRJ Alam Damai. Met up with some other cool guys, like Jian , Suki and Darren. Since I already had lunch, I only ordered a Sprite. see the other guys' blog for what they ate.

Then we were discussing about what games we play, and I mentioned something about GRiD. sheep then said, let's have a race. I said, sure, why not? Darren then drove us to Sri Petaling, where we found a CC and settled our butts in. btw, FYI, this is the first time I've gone to a CC. Thanks to sheep and the gang, I lost my " CC Virginity " XD

The comp's graphics card was a dinosaur GeForce 6600GT. I first played GRiD with him. Boy, was it lag. All the graphics options were at a minimum, but the graphics were still shuttering. I played the Nürburgring with sheep. I was using a Corvette C6R while sheep was using an Aston Martin DBR9. Since the comp was so lag (or rather I'm used to Ultra High graphics), I lost 98% to sheep. But at the very last corner, hehe, history was made.

Anyway, we then tried our hands at a slightly older game, namely NFS: Most Wanted. I thought it would not be as lag as GRiD, but heck, it was. The first round, I raced him on the NFS World Loop track. I was at a Corvette (again??) and sheep was manning an Elise. That he lost to me, but after we tried at another track, I lost to him.

I would have played more games, but time did not allow for more. Pity, really.

Anyway, to Suki, sheep, Darren and Jian, if you are reading this, thanks so much for this 100% random outing, I really had some fun. Do let me know if there will be such outings in the future. hehe
